Vast expanse of indifference

I bet you never realized how much I really valued it, or how much it really mattered.
Because you affected me, my life changed. It was amazing, but these things never last.
I think I knew that it would happen. Eventually it was true. We untied that knot together, the last thing we did.
I bet you know as well as I do, no one cares much for me long. Now I really wonder, was it just me, or was it you?

Sixth Grader's Mistake Do you remember how it felt? That anxiety, that made your legs shake, and that made your hair stick to your forehead? Do you remember what it was like to leave the comfort of being a big kid at elementary school; changing from being the oldest and most powerful from a familiar place to being a wimpy kid? Middle school was a new experience. A new school. Full of new enemies. Oh my god, I thought at the bus stop on that fateful first day, I cannot do this.

Do people ever think that maybe becuz they actually settle on the idea that they have to date someone within a certain mile range has lessen their chances to find a simply amazin person?
